Presentation Workshop
Team FURC 2021 is hosting an information session about presenting at FURC 2021 on January 28th from 4:30pm-5:30pm! In this session, we will cover how to create your poster, how to upload to Whova, tips and guidelines for your video presentation, and more!
If you cannot attend, we will be recording the info session and will be posting it on the FURC website.
Student Spotlight Submission for FURC 2021 Social Media
As part of our promotion for FURC 2021, we want to start highlighting previous FURC presenters and attendees on our FURC social media! Please share this student spotlight with students you would like featured on the social media: https://fsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6Phuh6Afg3wclbT. How you choose to share this submission form with your students is up to you, whether you want to nominate particular students to send this to or to send to all your students who have presented or attended FURC previously.
Submissions are on a rolling basis, and while there is no official deadline, we would like to feature a student each week, so please tell your students to upload their information as soon as they can. If you have any questions about this form, please email Team FURC 2021 at FURC2021@fsu.edu.
Workshops
The 2021 Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) organizers invite faculty and staff to submit abstracts for workshop presentations during the event on Friday, 2/26 (3:30-4:15 p.m.) or Saturday, 2/27 (10:15-11 a.m.). Workshop presentations are 45 minutes long, and in the past have covered topics such as graduate school application tips, how to get more out of your research, funding/applying for fellowships, and more. Other areas of interest include conducting research during COVID, self-care during quarantine, and leveraging your research experience on your resume. We are open to other applicable topics of your choosing, though we encourage proposals that are applicable to students from all majors. There will be two workshops sessions and workshops may run once or twice based on the number of proposals received.
Use the button below to submit your proposal by December 11th! Have any questions? Email FURC2021@fsu.edu
